Loaded with the highest quality components available, this spinnerbait head features premium Gamakatsu hooks, and is built on our exclusive super stainless, high-vibration, wire frames. 3-D molded lure eyes and an awesome glitter coated finish complete the package on our exquisitely detailed, realistic minnow head design. We have several premium spinnerbait skirts that match up with these superior heads. These baits are the best your money can buy.
For unpainted heads, see recommended eye sizes below:
- 1/4oz bait – 1/8” eyes
- 3/8oz bait – 5/32” eyes
- 1/2oz bait – 5/32” eyes
- Tools: Long Nose (Needle Nose Pliers), Round Nose Pliers, and Split Ring Pliers.
- Spinnerbait Head & Frame: Choose your favorite Spinner Bait frame.
- Skirt: Bass Academy or premium silicone 5” skirt.
- Blades: One smaller Colorado blade (front) and one larger Willow leaf blade (rear).
- Hardware: 1 Clevis, 2-3 Metal Beads, 1 Spacer, and 1 Ball Bearing Swivel.
- Apply a small amount of lip gloss to the spinnerbait head skirt collar.
- Slide the Bass Academy silicone skirt over the hook point and push it firmly up onto the skirt collar.
- Slide your smaller Colorado blade onto the curved clevis bracket.
- Slide the clevis directly down onto the open metal arm of the wire frame. Ensure the cup (convex side) of the blade faces backward toward the hook.
- Drop 1 or 2 metal beads down the shaft right after the clevis to act as smooth bearings.
- Slide a metal spinnerbait spacer onto the wire shaft. This ensures the two blades stay separated and do not interfere with rotation.
- Drop one final bead on top of the spacer.
- Take your Round Nose Pliers and grip the very tip of the open upper wire frame.
- Bend the wire down toward the hook to form a tight, neat 3/4 circle loop. Leaving it slightly open allows you to slide the hardware on next.
- Use your split ring pliers to attach a small split ring to the eyelet of your Willow leaf blade.
- Thread a premium ball bearing swivel onto that same split ring.
- Hang the open end of the swivel onto the open loop you made on the wire arm in Step 4.
- Use your long nose pliers to crimp the wire loop completely closed. Make sure there are no gaps so your blade assembly doesn't fly off while casting!

Best Spinnerbait Heads I've Found
by RI Bass Guide
These are the best spinnerbait heads I've found anywhere. The wire is unique. It is lighter than other spinnerbait wires, but it is also made from a material that makes it more sensitive. I can feel much more when I make spinnerbaits with this wire than I can with standard wire. This is especially true with a single spin configuration.
Two Thumbs Up

Best heads I’ve found. Great colors and quality. The lighter yet tough wire is very important for optimal blade vibration. Two thumbs up!!👍👍
Best Spin Frame, No Contest
by Micropterus Salmoides
If you haven't used these spinnerbaits, then you are missing out on the best spin frame design available anywhere. These heads are awesome! They look great and work even better. The hooks are sticky sharp (be very careful) and the paint jobs are professional grade! You will not be disappointed.
Get some!
by Riverdog
These are the best spinnerbait heads around! The wire is amazing! It flexes but doesn't get all bent out of shape when you catch a fish. LPO, if you read these reviews, you NEED a bluegill colored head.
The Best!

Get Some!

These are truly the best heads on the market. Very detailed head, and the wire is way better than just regular stainless wire. I would use these before any spinnerbait by any big company. And there is a bluegill colored head, it just isn't in the pictures.
Tournament Angler & Pro Guide
by Curt Snow
"I’ve been building my own spinnerbaits since 1990. Over the years I’ve learned what makes a great spinnerbait vs. just an average spinnerbait. The LPO Signature Spin spinnerbait heads are by far the best on the market. These heads have premium quality paint that makes them look awesome. But most of all, the wire is truly unique. It vibrates more than any other spinnerbait wires I’ve ever seen! With the Signature Spin heads, I can feel every rotation of the blades. I know what my bait is doing every inch of the way back to the boat! And as a pro guide, and tournament angler, this is critical to catching more fish. Keep up the great work LPO! "
