This commercial grade wire former is a welcome addition for lurebuilders looking for a tool that can handle larger fishing lures. It has both wire bending and wrapping capabilities and will make all the bends and wraps necessary to make spinnerbaits and bucktails of all kinds. Features also include right or left hand operation, anodized aluminum frame, tool steel wear points, and a wide range of wire diameters accepted. This wire forming tool works with wire from .018 to .045 diameters.

Easy to use and can produce mass production of lures very quickly.

Not what is pictured but works

I am leaving 3 stars for 2 simple reasons (the 2 missing stars). The 1st reason: The picture of this item shows a handle on the top (the press down one) and a BLACK handle on the side (twisting one). The item I received did not have a handle AT ALL on the top. It is just a piece of metal that goes all the way out. Still works as designed but not what is advertised. I also received a SILVER handle on the side. Which I assume is cheaper and easier to come by. This does not coincide with the picture shown. There also is no Hagen's logo on the item anywhere. That's a bit odd now.. I did need to adjust the small silver piece where you bend wire against, but that's to be expected. My 2nd star being removed is due to the fact that I now need to go out and spend even more money (now over $230) to buy bolts to bolt the sucker down. ALSO which is shown in the listing, and not received.
