Good but with one annoying flaw
by PHILIP -
First the good: The jigs turn out nice if you preheat the mold as recommended. I tied on a bucktail and a plastic fish body, and took it to the beach. Great swimming action, well balanced.
Now the not-so good. Two cavities are specified for #4 and #5 hook. But these hooks extend beyond the end of the mold. That means they have only one contact point. The result is that the #4 and #5 hooks must be manually supported and aligned while the (heated) mold is closed. Therefore it is only practical to pour either the 3/4oz or 1oz cavity, not both at the same time. Maybe you could try a #3 hook instead, though I have not tried that. It's not the end of the world, but a bit annoying.
