These Elite Scrounger Jig Heads are designed to accommodate our Scrounger Bills (sold separately), creating a frenzied, wobble action. The plastic bills slide up the back of the head and snap onto the special collar that holds them securely in place. Experiment with the various bill thicknesses for a different swim cadence. Paint your own custom colors or choose from a variety of professionally painted heads. These jigs can also be fished without the bill if desired. Jigs feature recessed eye sockets and premium Mustad UltraPoint hooks. Sold 5 jigs to a pack.
IMPORTANT NOTE! Scrounger Bill and Plastic Trailer SOLD SEPARATELY!

Insane action! Vicious strikes!
by jimmyfish
This is the scrounger head Ive been waiting for! It can also be used for forward facing sonar without the bills!! Its great to match the bills depending on water temp and they are very easy to install. I used the smaller version of the big D as a trailer tuning it sideways on the smaller heads and the action is INSANE! White bass kill it and smallmouth almost rip the rod from your hands. Another winner from LPO!
Scrounger Jig Field Trial Results

Got the 1/8, 1/4 & 3/8 heads and the recommended size blades. Fishing them on a 7ft light action rod Mitchell 308 spooled with 10lb Tuff line and 10lb mono leader and attached w/#1 duoloc snap. The 1/8 w/0.04 blade action can be felt through the rod same w/1/4 w/0.045 blade. What I discovered is keep the blade straight the jig will run off to the side if twisted and if twisted enough will make the jig spin. Keep trailers short 2-2.5 on the 1/8 and 2.5-3.5 on the 1/4 & 3/8 Much longer kills the action. Also use very flexible plastics tried a stiffer drop shot plastic it killed the action, also depending on the make and model boot tail and curly taiiled grubs can dampen and/or kill the action. But when rigged right so far I have taken LMBass to 18 in SM Bass to 17 (plus lots of small fish) Northern Pike some big RockBass and today a 6inch Common Shiner.
