Not the quality they use to be

Not the quality that they use to be. They use to be shinny gold but not now. Got the hammered gold and looked like the hammered copper in the premium but twice the price. Called and asked about this finish and got--- you get what you ordered.

It is all about the shine

flat out fish catching blades. the black is my go to for salmon

Very high quality

Ordered the gold many times and am more than happy with the finish. Gold holds up, even after using for a season or two. Costs more than brass, but you get what you pay for. Clear coat on brass eventually wears off, but gold looks great for years! Well worth it.

Good Spinnerbait Blades

I use the gold finish for my spinnerbaits. These blades spin better than any others I have used. They don't tarnish either. When I have to retire a spinnerbait with a torn up skirt or bent wire, the blades still look new and I can rig them on the next bait. Very high quality finish!!

Good for spinnerbaits

The gold is more expensive, but they are very nice blades and do not look worn even after a hard season of fishing. Shiny finish keeps over the winter for the next season. Much better quality and durability over brass blades. Very nice product!! Will always get gold when given the choice.

hammered copper Colorado blades

Last summer and again last week, spinner rigs I constructed with these #2 hammered copper Colorado blades caught more walleyes in northern Minnesota than anything else, including those with hammered brass Indiana blades. Unfortunately, northern pike like them too, so all but one were destroyed during the week. That's why I'm ordering a bunch more.
