With these hooks you get the best of both worlds. They are very, very sharp and the wire is just heavy enough to give the hook the strength it needs, but fine enough to penetrate easily. The perfect balance. You lose very few fish as hook easily sticks the fish but won't open hardly ever. Great hook!
