Have been using this jig head for a couple of years . Love the Gamakatsu hooks. I started out trimming the week guard just a little but I quit doing it because the hook up ratio didn't seem to change.

Very cool consistent paint, hooks and weedgaurds with each order. The Gamakatsu Hooks are great. The head design is a great balance of weed less and action of movement. I won't tie my skirts on any other swimjig head.
