BA909 Bass Academy Pro Peg (5pk)
The Pro Peg was designed specifically for the new Coike / Urchin style baits that feature a ¾" center. This unique Peg Weight not only weights your lure for an optimized sink rate but also keeps your hook in the perfect position for a solid hook set. The Pro Peg allows you to catch multiple fish without re-rigging. Simply insert peg through center of bait, then run hook through the eyelet at the end of the peg on the other side of the core. Keep eyelet inside plastic for best results. The Pro Peg can also be used for other applications, such as NEKO rigs. Weights are imprinted on head for easy identification. We offer a convenient Assortment pack that contains 2 weights in each size, so you always have the weight you need. Stem length is ¾" on all weights.

Best urchin rigging option!

This is the easiest way to rig the urchin style baits. I combined it with a 2/0 VMC wacky hook on your Super Nova and a 3/0 straight shank VMC on the medusa and its awesome. Hook up percentage is EXCELLENT. I love that the weight is stamped on the bottom.
Perfect fit

These pegs fit the urchin baits perfectly. I recommend not having peg protrude out the plastic so you can run your hook through the bait. That keeps the hook snug and in position. Caught multiple fish without having to reposition the hook. Very good product!
