I have been using Victory hooks for sometime now and this is the main style that I use for the arky mold and finesse jig mold. Initially, I thought that it was a decent hook especially for the price and had good success initially. Recent batches of the hook have come with dull hook points and wire flaws where the gaps are very narrow. Even worse, the hook points on recent jigs have had the tip curl after hooking one fish (little over a pound spotted bass). This happened in a recent tournament. One jig, one fish. I think I will pass on victory hooks and go back to mustad for a budget hook. They seem to have better quality control and never had a hook tip curl with mustad. Ive had issues with the weedless ned rig mold hooks, as well as the reg version of this hook with the tips curling after catching a fish and the hook gaps being off. I think it just comes down to quality control and they are lacking.
