Redfish in Florida love these spoons

I fish mostly salt water. I ordered these spoons (J3) eight or ten years ago, put them in the tackle box and simply overlooked them for several more years. When I finally got around to tying one on, I was as amazed as I was thrilled.
It was a very slow day, so just passing time between the change of tides, I started jigging like I was ice fishing through a hole. No walleye in Florida but with that tiny spoon I landed a 27 inch red bass.
Tie one on, and hold on! Needless to say, I highly recommend it.

The J2 1/4 ounce model, set up with a single hook, tipped with 2 inch Berkley Power Minnow is one of my go to options for walleyes. Cast, let it settle, retrieve it with a series of short 2 foot snaps/twitches. A real killer especially when times a tough.

I catch tons of Crappie on these small spoons. They love the hammered finish. I use a red plastic flipper on the hook. Makes a great lure even more deadly. Thanks
